An update from the director of The North Georgia Youth Music and Worship Arts Camp

Greetings Friends,

Ecclesiastes 3 tells us there is a time for everything….

No one could have known there would be a time for something like COVID-19.  While this time has been rife with fear and uncertainty, it has also been filled with courage, hope, and love.

It is with love in our hearts, for our campers and their families, that we have made the difficult decision to postpone our plans for the 2020 camp session and look ahead to 2021.  We value the health and safety of all involved and want to be responsible in our efforts to stay well in this unusual season.

We are hopeful as we look to the future and make plans for 2021!  Please reserve June 27 – July 3 on calendars for next summer.  We are planning to reconvene at Reinhardt University.  Mr. Cooper Haywood has agreed to shift his leadership from this summer to 2021 and we will keep the same scripture in mind (1 Corinthians 2: 9-10) for our theme: What No Eye Has Seen.  We are certainly experiencing that right now!

We continue to pray for courage and well-being for our campers and families in the days to come.  While we cannot be together in person, we are making plans for videos and interactive online gatherings during what would have been our week of camp.  Please watch our Facebook page and for emails with details!

May the Lord bless you and keep you,

Alice Myers
